The Results

What Changed

In eleven months, RedPulse built the client a Reddit content library that now earns attention on three fronts at once: community engagement, recommendations from AI engines, and organic Google traffic.

  • Leading the category in AI answers. On non-branded, recommendation-style prompts, the brand’s share of voice rose from 33.8% in January to 52.0% in October, ahead of every tracked competitor, including Samsung, SunBriteTV and Furrion.

  • Reddit is a top source behind the brand’s AI answers. It out-cites long-established publications such as Forbes and Popular Mechanics.

  • Massive reach. About 2.28 million impressions, 926 upvotes, 1,607 comments and 1,027 shares, including a single thread that reached 729k impressions.

  • Real AI citations. 35 campaign posts carry a combined 1,701 AI citations from 2,813 retrievals.

  • A fast-growing organic channel. 225 ranking keywords, 122 in the top 3, and roughly 605 estimated organic visits a month.

The Approach

How We Ran It

Outdoor TV buyers ask Reddit and AI engines the same questions: will it survive the weather, is it bright enough, and is it worth the money. We built a program to answer those questions where buyers are already looking, through genuine community content rather than brand messaging.

  1. 1

    Scenario-driven topics

Posts built around real buying situations (poolside, patio, RV, tailgating, budget) and “is it worth it?” questions.

  2. 2

    The right communities

Broad homeowner audiences such as r/HomeImprovement and r/homeowners, alongside niche communities like r/Pools, r/RVLiving and r/patio.

  3. 3

    Consistent cadence

Five to six posts every month for eleven months, with a bank of 63 topics behind them.

Results were tracked across Reddit engagement, AI visibility on 25 tracked prompts across ChatGPT, Google AI Overview, Perplexity and Gemini (Peec AI), and organic search (Ahrefs).

The Outcomes

The Numbers, Channel by Channel

Outcome 1

Reddit Reach at Scale

The program generated roughly 2.28 million impressions. The top eight posts account for about 70% of the total, and the biggest winners were broad homeowner-intent threads, where “is it worth it?” and “will it last?” framings resonate.

Outcome 2

The Brand Leads Samsung in AI Recommendations

On the non-branded, recommendation-style prompts that most resemble a real purchase decision, the client now leads every tracked competitor on both visibility and share of voice. Share of voice is about 13 points ahead of Samsung, the closest competitor and a far larger consumer electronics brand.

The trend has moved steadily upward: non-branded visibility climbed from 33.9% in January to 59.4% in October, a new high, with a clear inflection in May and June as the library matured. On branded prompts, the brand is essentially unrivaled at 99.1% visibility and 76.3% share of voice, including head-to-head comparisons against SunBrite and Samsung Terrace.

Outcome 3

Dominating the Scenarios Buyers Ask About

Lifestyle and scenario prompts are where the content strategy shows up most clearly. The brand appears in roughly 80–90% of AI answers for poolside, bathroom, RV and “best of 2026” queries.

Visibility is strong on every major engine: 61.1% on Google AI Overview, 56.3% on Gemini and 46.0% on ChatGPT, the largest engine by tracked volume.

Outcome 4

Reddit Content AI Engines Actually Cite

35 campaign posts carry measurable AI citations, totaling 1,701 citations from 2,813 retrievals. Reddit ranks as the fourth-largest source domain behind the brand’s AI answers, behind only the brand’s own site, YouTube and a TV-review aggregator, and ahead of Popular Mechanics, Forbes and Home Theater Review.

Two of the top five are branded comparison threads, a sign that AI engines treat the campaign’s content as a legitimate source for direct brand-comparison queries as well as generic “best outdoor TV” recommendations.

    Impressions on one r/HomeImprovement thread

  • 269

AI citations on one r/Pools thread

  • 44

Top-3 Google keywords on one r/Patio thread

Different threads win in different places, which is what makes a library stronger than any single post.

The r/Patio thread alone drives about 61% of the campaign’s estimated organic traffic (372 visits a month across 78 keywords), while the r/Pools thread is the most-cited post in the program’s history. Together, they show how one content strategy pays off across reach, AI and search.

Takeaways

Why It Worked

  • Answer the question buyers actually ask.

Scenario-driven topics map directly onto the prompts people type into AI engines.

  • Earned beats editorial.

Community content now out-cites major publications in the brand’s own AI-answer footprint.

  • Right audience, right framing.

Broad homeowner communities rewarded “is it worth it?” questions, and niche communities supply high-intent recommendations.

  • Consistency compounds.

Eleven months of steady publishing now supports reach, AI visibility and Google rankings together, with more posts still ramping.
